US-Based Nigerian Doctor in Neurosurgery Flies Home Monthly To Perform Free Surgery

Dr. Sulaiman’s medical mission in Nigeria started back in 2010. Now, he keeps moving between USA and Nigeria almost every month, spending around ten days in order to perform free surgery and save numerous lives.

In order to achieve this, he decided to give up 15% of his salary so he can have a flexible schedule that would enable him to travel to Nigeria with ease.

During the last five years, Sulaiman and his team managed to perform more than 500 free surgeries. At the same time, they have also provided preventative medicine to more than 5000 people.

Currently, Sulaiman has managed to develop a program to train Nigerians back home, in order to provide with healthcare those with no access.

Cases like this are the ones that show us that there is still hope in humanity.
